Dawn Pension Review
Dawn came to us in the summer of 2019 looking to review her pensions. She was approaching retirement and wanted to ensure that the money she has was a) going to provide a sufficient income in retirement and b) working hard.
We got talking about her retirement plans, what income was needed, when she might retire and what she wanted to do. We also discussed Dawn’s views on investment ethics. Dawn was keen to avoid certain industries with her money. Tobacco, Pornography, Fossil Fuels.
Through this discussion we were able to build a financial plan, detailing the level of investment risk Dawn needed to take to achieve her income targets in retirement but importantly doing so without compromising her ethics.
We recommended a portfolio with the requested exclusions that was in line with her risk level and targets for the future.
